Southern Indiana Adult Guardianship Services
Our agency serves as the court appointed guardian for adults with intellectual disabilities, Dementia, and cognitive impairments who are unable to understand every day medical and financial decisions. SIAGS is a Volunteer Advocates for Senior Incapacitated Adults (VASIA) program.
Southern Indiana Adult Guardianship Services exists to provide advocacy and guardianship services for at-risk and incapacitated adults residing in Lawrence, Orange, Washington, Crawford, and Dubois Counties in Indiana. It is the goal of the organization that the services it provides will be administered in the least restrictive manner and with the most respect for the value of all individuals in our community.
Volunteer!
We have a team of trained volunteers who are the eyes and the ears for the court. This team visits clients on a monthly basis and has access to free continuing education on topics revenant to our programs.
